How to Grant TAPP Network Access to Your Network Solutions Account

This guide outlines the steps to grant TAPP Network delegated access to your Network Solutions account. This allows our team to manage your DNS, domain settings, and technical configurations without requiring your personal login credentials or billing information.

Prerequisites

  • You must be the Primary Contact or Admin of the Network Solutions account.

  • You will need to invite our specific email address: websites@tappnetwork.com.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to Network Solutions:

  2. Navigate to Accounts & Users:

    • Once logged in, click your Name/Profile Icon in the top right corner.

    • Select Accounts & Users from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Your Account:

    • If you have multiple accounts, locate the correct one and click the Manage button next to it.

    • Note: If you only have one account, you may already be on the correct dashboard.

  4. Add a New User:

    • Scroll down to the section labeled User Roles & Permissions.

    • Click the + Add User button.

  5. Enter TAPP Network Details:

    • Name: TAPP Network

    • Email Address: websites@tappnetwork.com

  6. Select the Role:

    • Choose Tech (Technical Contact).

    • Note: This role allows us to manage domains, DNS, and hosting without giving us access to your billing or payment methods.

  7. Send the Invitation:

    • Click the Invite button.


What Happens Next?

Our team will receive an email invitation at websites@tappnetwork.com. Once we accept the invitation, we will have immediate access to the technical settings of your account to begin work.

Troubleshooting

  • Don't see "User Roles & Permissions"? Ensure you are logged in as the Primary Account Holder. Some sub-user accounts do not have permission to add new users.

  • Invitation not received/accepted? Please let your TAPP Network project manager know once you have sent the invite so we can check our spam folder if necessary.
